Even the choice of ceramics follows this thread: three different motifs, all linked to the great tradition of Castelli majolica, become part of the Masseria's identity.

The first is the Fioraccio Castellano, a floral decoration born between the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries and linked to the ceramist Gesualdo Fuina. Roses and flowers in bright colors, including the characteristic purple and bright green, transform ceramics into something immediate, joyful, and popular.

Then there is theBlue Ornament, a traditional Castelli motif characterized by a striking contrast between blue and white and elegant plant and ornamental elements. It's a decoration that harks back to the historic repertoire of Castelli ceramics and continues to be reinterpreted by local workshops today.

Finally, the Third Heaven brings the story into the twentieth century. Created in 1954 by masters and students of the Castelli Art Institute, it was born as a contemporary reinterpretation of the famous majolica ceiling of the Church of San Donato and represents the meeting between a centuries-old tradition and the ability to renew it.

Fioraccio, Blue Ornament e Third Heaven They therefore tell three sides of the same story: the vitality of popular tradition, the elegance of the historical repertoire, and the ability of Abruzzo craftsmanship to renew itself over time.

Bringing them to Masseria Pansa's objects means doing more than decorating a table or a package: it means bringing home a small fragment of Abruzzo, intertwining the story of the earth's products with that of the hands and artists who, for centuries, have crafted Castelli ceramics.

Discover our Christmas boxes with Castelli ceramics here!

Three decorations, one story: Castelli ceramics at Masseria Pansa.
